Position: Company Principal
Chris has worked for many years in Financial Services and assists in the everyday running of the business. Chris has a Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She has previously been an Exports Shipping Manager for Unilever and Shell for 15 years. More recently she has set up two small businesses in the retail sector.
Within the company, Chris has taken over the management of personnel and financial administration of the company.
She has three children: Lewis, Laura and Lloyd. They between them have three children, Chris’s grandchildren: Emilia (9), Ollie (2) and Florence Beau (1). Chris spends lots of time caring for her family and is number one childminder in her family.
Chris’s interests include gardening, cooking, travel, dancing and yoga. She is a devout Roman Catholic and takes an extremely active part in her local church community at St Mary and the Angels in Hooton.
Malcolm has over 40 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry having worked for over 30 years with Scottish Widows, followed by periods with Aegon and Zurich. For the last 5 years he has taken on the role as an Independent Financial Adviser dealing in investments, pension protection and company pension schemes.
Malcolm feels that his years of experience help in ensuring the best possible advice for all of his clients, who he also feels become friends. His approach is relaxed but always professional.
At home Mal, who has a wife, grown up kids and dog, is a passionate golfer and is happy to also conduct business either on the course or in the Club House!
For the past ten years, Mal has also helped to run a Junior Football team and has also been heavily involved in the local Cub Pack.
Dean has worked in the financial services industry for over 9 years. After working for UK Advisors Ltd earlier in his career as an insurance adviser, he then trained to become a CeMAP qualified mortgage adviser. Dean has been an independent financial adviser for over 6 years and really enjoys working with the team at Simon Kershaw and Associates Ltd.
As well as looking after his ever expanding portfolio of insurance and mortgage client base, Dean is currently studying to become a CII qualified pension adviser.
Aside from Dean’s hectic working life, Dean has a great wife and family to support. He is a keen footballer, supporting Everton. He is also a ‘trying’ golfer as he approaches his older age.
Emma has a background in finance working as a supervisor in the Risk department at MBNA in Chester. She has had a career break to bring up her 4 children and support her husband in his army career.
She is now fully back and fully qualified as a CEMAP mortgage adviser.
Aside from running round after her children, Emma loves socialising and playing tennis and is a great new addition to the close team at Simon Kershaw & Associates.
